Jump on the train for the flat bread trend and enjoy this Strawberry Naan Pizza for dessert or as a quick treat throughout your day.
Raise your hand if you’re on board with the naan trend (I’m raising both hands over here.)
If you’re new to naan, it’s a flatbread popular in Central and South Asia – often made with yogurt and milk which results in a softer, doughier texture than say, pita bread. And it’s currently the “it bread” in the foodie social media world.
And I get the popularity behind it – it’s soft, doughy, and delicious.
I was going to take a crack out of making it myself for this recipe but I’ve been buying the Trader Joe’s Whole Wheat Naan for the past few years now so I figured why try to re-invent the wheel. (Though when I do attempt it – I’m going to try this Whole Wheat Naan recipe from Anupama @My Ginger Garlic Kitchen.)
So, because this recipe calls for a store-bought version of naan (no shame), this is a super easy thing to whip up in minutes (literally as you’ll be whipping cream) as a last-minute dessert for guests or a sweet treat for yourself.
I even ate the leftovers for breakfast the next day with some peanut butter drizzled on top. #YesIDid

Strawberry Naan Pizza
- 4 pieces whole-wheat naan bread
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup Greek style vanilla yogurt
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 2 tablespoons honey
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Wrap naan in aluminum foil and heat in oven for 5 minutes until warm.
While naan is heating, whip the cream with an electric beater until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in yogurt.
To arrange pizzas, spread whipped cream/yogurt mixture over each naan. Arrange sliced strawberries on top. Sprinkle with fresh mint and drizzle with honey. Cut each naan in half and serve.
